5 simple rules for Happiness

Yesterday a friend of mine posted this in the local hyper-local news blog.
It was a poem about dealing with what life throws at you.
The moral being that it's not what is being thrown at you, but your reaction to it.

At the end she had these 5 simple rules for cultivating happiness in your life:

1. Free your heart from hatred - Forgive.
2. Free your mind from worries - Most never happen.
3. Live simply and appreciate what you have.
4. Give more.
5. Expect less.

Wishing you and yours a happy winter solstice!

Lovely! I will keep this in mind as I go through this season with it's stresses and it's joys!

Thanks for making the West Seattle Clinic happen this year and being the inspiration behind the street fairs as well as the totally committed participant. It's been a great year for our work!
